Pope Benedict says that we need a world government.
That is one of the main themes of his brand new encyclical entitled Caritas in Veritate, or Charity in Truth. In it, Pope Benedict publicly calls for a "true world political authority" with "real teeth". At a time when many other prominent world leaders are openly calling for a "New World Order", to have the Roman Pontiff openly state that we need a world government is more than a little alarming, and it is yet another clear sign that we are living in the last days.
The 144 page encyclical is the result of an intensive 2 year effort by Pope Benedict to bring Catholic social teaching up to date on issues such as economic development, terrorism, sex tourism, population issues, bioethics and the environment.
As he called for world government in the encyclical, the Pope chose words that were very direct and to the point:
"There is a strongly felt need... for a reform of the United Nations Organisation, and likewise of economic institutions and international finance, so that the concept of the family of nations can acquire real teeth... there is urgent need of a true world political authority."
"Real teeth"?
What in the world would a global government with "real teeth" look like?
According to Pope Benedict, the job of such a world political authority would be "to manage the global economy; to revive economies hit by the crisis; to avoid any deterioration of the present crisis and the greater imbalances that would result."
So it is not just a one world government that Pope Benedict is advocating.
He is also officially recommending that the one world government would "manage" a one world economic system.
Not only is Pope Benedict promoting a one world economic system, but he is promoting one that would be openly socialist. In the encyclical, Pope Benedict wrote that a one world economic system would "open up the unprecedented possibility of large-scale redistribution of wealth on a world-wide scale".
Has Pope Benedict been reading the writings of Karl Marx?
Since when is it the job of the Pope to advocate the "large-scale redistribution of wealth"?
Apparently that would mean taking wealth away from Americans and Europeans and giving it to others.
When Pope Benedict puts out an encyclical that recommends the adoption of a one world government and a one world economic system, it shows all of us how close to the last days that we really are.

A one world religion?
After all, most Bible prophecy scholars agree that three of the main pillars of the Antichrist's system will be a one world government, a one world economic system (the Mark of the Beast, etc.) and a one world religion.
Pope Benedict's declaration that we need a one world government and a one world economic system should be a huge wake up call for all of us.
We are in the last days.
It is time to get ready.
First things first: I’m an atheist, so I don’t buy the “we’re in the end days” stuff… but after reading this, I had to ask:
How does calling for a “World Government” lead to calling for a “World Religion?”
Seriously. Government has nothing to do with religion, and in this day and age where church and state are kept separate for the explicit purpose of PROTECTING all religions… there shouldn’t be any concern that a world government (which would, in all likelihood, be comprised of representatives from all over the world) would automatically lead to a single world religion.
I’m sorry, that’s alarmist and unnecessary. We’re human beings, capable of controlling our own fate as a civilization. A world government does not have to bring with it world religion if… we say it doesn’t.
The Pope has it all backward. More centralization of economic control leads to further erosian of political and civil/religious freedoms. To think that any leader, let alone a religious one, could encourage (as in tell his sheep, literally meant by the way many of them act in thoughtless obedience to papal commands, to vote for or against various political positions.
What is the pope’s real problem? Simply that:
A. The Religion News Service yesterday reported that the Vatican had said it is now $22,000,000.00 in debt. It rests on a grand total of 208 acres of land.
B. The other problems is that Catholics, like everyone else, have been very negatively affected by the international economic downturn. The Catholic Church, like many others, has had to cut budgets, laying off many employees, thus reducing Church income even further.
C. Third world countries, where the greatest segment of Roman Catholics live, especially in Centreal and South America, are where the greatest impact of the economic downturn is located. The pope’s church is in deep trouble. Benedict is likely afraid that other churches will offer a religious experience that, though it may be less ritualistic, may have a sense of greater spiritual uplift amd consequently more sharing among members.
D. Waht is the papal way when things get rough and the Cuurch seems not to have sufficient answers? You guessed it, the STATE.
And the disguises on this apparent papal plot are a bit like putting lipstick on a pig. You can see it’s size and you can sure smell it.
Here is my social work professional analysis of Benie’s little problem:
1. His Vatican city state is now $22,000,000.00 in debt and no hope of reversal. Vatican income has dropped off as a result of the worldwide economic downturn that the pope says is causing the poor to suffer from. His Church isn’t doing very well, either.
2. Because the recession is worldwide (most recessions ARE worldwide), it appears that Benedict sees the best opportunity his Church has had in a very long time to extend it’s control over the religious affairs of the masses. He wants to say he can make the point that he wants to have a worldwide government-led kind of worldwide almost legislative system set up whereby some “authority” can tell all the others what to do, and when in economics. He says he is for the poor. But his actions say to me that he is using the economic scene to convince world governments that they need a moral shephard, sort of like himself, one would easily guess based on the past history of the pope’s Churc
In other words, the pope whose church makes so much money by selling the various elements of forgiveness of sin, is now broke and needs a bailpout of some kind

Personally, I think that an atheist claim is nothing more than a claim to be your own God. That’s why there are so many religions in the world and why one of them “Christianity” is divided into many variations. It’s not that God hasn’t provided us with enough evidence to make a clear determination, it’s simply that most people will not accept the evidence in its entirety.
That’s not all his hand it that picture is displaying a very loosely disguised Luciferian hand signal (Google it you’ll find lots of examples). This shows you who he really serves.
Note: I have no idea if Lucifer exists or not but the cabal that is trying to bring in a New World Order do belief he does and follow the Luciferian doctrine from what I have read online. Yes it is long, but it is needed to understand what the author meant, rather than cherrypicked quotes from the end of certain chapters. There are concepts better explained in the chapter, that then make sense when you read the aforementioned quotes. It is a serious diservice to the reader here to not hyperlink the source document, but rather only to other news articles for your view.
The quote Re: reform of the United Nations Organisation, is actually a call for a reformed UN, that deals with Subsidiarity and Solidarity, and NOT any kind of centralized authoritarian operation. This world currently does not have that, and the global powers would not want that.
You might need to explore what Subsidiarity and Solidarity really are. Its more like ‘United Global Charity’
The “large-scale redistribution of wealth”? is not about Marxism, but is about better use of resources, and that working together would encourage better use of resources, rather than hoarding God’s natural bounties. Charity is needed.
The document explores the Social and Charitable elements of Christianity, and therefore it is in the purview of the church, and the Catholic Church particulary, to open the discussion of such things.
Charity and Truth need to be understood better. Misquoting does not help.

Let’s assume: theoretically a world government could solve a lot of problems. But realistically it’s not possible. Counting the power according to the number of inhabitants this would create the effect that Asia ( BRIC- states ) would lead this government. Does any one believe in such a theory?

Disagree about all the other parts of the author’s blog, but think about the one thing that the Pope is clearly advocating – a UN government with “real teeth”.
Do you realize that the current representatives at the UN are over 50% from undemocratic, authoritarian governments? Do you want them to have “real teeth”, that is, military power over individual nations that don’t do what they want?

I encourage you to re-read the comment “Cromagnum on January 30th, 2011 5:24 am” above. Its in red on my screen. I was taught that ‘text out of context is pretext.’ Pretext, btw, is making something say what you want it to say. That is a distortion of the truth. I would hope that all you who claim to be Christians are eager for God’s Truth, even if it comes from a source you have been warned about all your life. It’s time to suck up your pride and egos and realize the Catholic Church is not evil. It’s not a man-made institution. I have not been Catholic all my life, I have done my searching. I have found the fullness of the Biblical Truth in this Church. I have found Jesus there. I’m sure you have found Jesus in your churches too.
Realize this, the separation of churches that we are all guilty of continuing is blasphemous against Jesus. He PRAYED that we might be One as He is One. If someone is trying to unify all religions into one, that, Biblically, is a good thing, and God approved. Not to dissolve Biblical teachings to achieve this oneness, no, but that is NOT what the pope is striving for. But we do have to start somewhere, and telling all other faiths “you are wrong, you have to change to be like us” is not a good starting place.

Unification of all religions is a good thing. World government is a different kettle of fish entirely. My commentary on this is just so unbelievably vast, I do not know where to begin.
Let me start by stating I am a Christian without any true religious affiliation. I go to “churches” but do not attend “a church.” I believe in tithing and charity, and I do what I can to be “a good Christian.” However, I am about to play “Devil’s Advocate,” per se.
First of all, I have not read the original document (which should be done), so my conclusions here will be based purely upon the author of this articles report, the concluding commentaries, and my own personal common sense.
Issue #1: Do not confuse “unity” with “unitarianism.” They are not the same. The conclusion I have built from what I have just read, is that the motion here is for unitarianism. A unitarian goverment, no matter how you slice it, will be absolutely horrible for most people. Over the course of the past 10,000 years of human existance many peoples, nations, cultures, races, and religions have drawn lines of division between one another for good purposes. The simple fact is “No, we can not ‘all just get along.’” It sounds nice, but would never work. Someone will ALWAYS want to be the top dog. What you are envisioning could only be achieved with a perfect ruler (which last I checked the only perfect man died 2000 years ago on a cross), BUT NOT JUST THAT, a perfect society.
Issue #2: One world economy. This is one of those things that sound so good on paper but again, could never work out. The reason is this, some places (The United States, Europe, India, Japan, Canada, Australia) have such far greater economies than other places (Uganda, Afghanistan, Bosnia, Mexico, Argentina, Ethiopia, etc) that unifying these economies would cause near immediate collapse in the wealthier nations while only supporting the lesser fortunate ones temporarily. As much as I hate to admit it, you need to have some rich people out there to employ the poor. Everyone having equal wealth sounds WONDERFUL, SPECTACULAR, and MIRACULOUS… in theory… but again, could never work. You think it would end starvation? Poor health conditions? Lack of jobs? No… It won’t. It will create more of it on a larger global scale. Take Ethiopia for example. You know how many times other nations have sent aid to Ethiopia? How many times they tried to teach these people how to irrigate feilds and grow crops? How many times they supplied those people with the tools and seeds necessary to do it? I can tell you it is more than you would ever even begin to believe. Did they do it? No, half the time they started then ate the seeds. Responsibility is needed for nations to flourish. The more “go getters” you have striving for something better the more prosperous you are. It is very sad for some of those people suffering there. Learn English, then immigrate to the U.S. if you are hungry, feel like working, and aren’t carrying strange communicable diseases. If you’d rather be lazy and rot, then that is your choice, which brings issue #3.
Issue #3: One world religion. Though I truly seen no indication of “one world religion” in the author’s article, I have seen it mentioned in the poster’s comments. There were even a few claiming to be “Christians” that seem to think one world religion is a good idea… How very Nazi of you. If you are a Christian, then this should immediately be a red flag in so many ways, because it defies God’s will. To even claim this is good (as a Christian) would be claiming to have full comprehension of God’s plan. Which again (if Christian) you would know this is not at all possible if you ever once read your Bible. For everyone else, Christian or non-Christain, let me ask… Would it be good/okay/advisable to deprive over 3/4 the world’s current population of their own thoughts, opinions, and worship practices? Would it be good to annihilate 20,000+ years of human history and culture just to make it simpler for modern man to more easily fit into a niche in society by forcing everyone into the same niche? No it wouldn’t. It would deprive everyone of their rights as human beings and all perceived freedom would be forever lost. (To Christians) GOD gave us free will, to make our own choices, for his own purpose. Let GOD choose when he will make his own moves, he’s infinitely powerful (that’s what we believe right?), then he can handle it himself. Forcing Christianity/Catholicism on the world is not good.
I am sure you (Christians) would change your tune if it were the President of Iran in a U.N. meeting saying the whole world should be Islamic or the Dahli Llama saying the whole world should adopt Buddhism, or why not even Tom Cruise advocating Scientology? Would you not then be outraged? Of course you would. Then why would you say uniting (forcing) the world (into) under one religion is good? The premise, I assure you, will never be good.
We are so far from world peace it is pathetic. We are no closer than we were 10,000 years ago. I don’t think that we will be anytime within my lifetime either. To think that forcing everyone into one category, one church, under one flag, will cause anything less than complete chaos is totally naive.

Read Revealtion and try NOT to think about it being the Bible, just fortune being told about the future from some guy long dead (like Nostradamus) and you’ll see what I am saying. I may have been a little hard on 3rd Worlders, I know many of them have been born into disasterous circumstances due to the situations created by their parents, grand parents (so on and so forth ad nauseum), generations. They also tend (not all but many) to suffer from poor educations (looking at the kids in the U.S. these days not to sure HOW MUCH worse, though) and may not have the greatest foundations… However, if it were that bad for me, seriously (and I kid you not), I would WALK to England or something. (I know it is several thousand miles and could take a month, and I may die on the trip, BUT it is better than laying there and dying with my hand out and no dignity)
2. For any/all that still doubt the impossibility of a “one world governement being able to work for all,” or shun the idea simply to rebel against the religious/political ramifications of my basis… Chew on this: You do realize that for a unitarian world communism to truly exist (and communism/facism is all it could be so I will call it as I see it), succeed, and continue to succeed, they would have to simply KILL every single person that wanted, spoke of, thought of, fantasized about, or sought ANYTHING ELSE other than what they give you.
That means, atheist or religious, you MUST accept their politics, or die. You must accept their religion, or die. You must accept their philosophy, or die. You must accept their thinking, or die. You must accept everything you are given, and want nothing more, ever, or die. You must accept all their rules and regulations, no matter how much they may irritate you, or die. You must accpet their laws, or die. You must adopt their moral principals and ethics, or die. You must be, only as they command you to be, and never anything different, or die. You will eat when they tell you, sleep when they tell you, marry when they tell you, mate when they tell you, work when they tell you, live where they tell you, drive what they tell you, go where they tell you, and only when they tell you… OR DIE!
Because if even only one solitary idealist risen from the ashes of the old civilizations and spread his/her thoughts amongst the others, provoking theirs, there would be a potential rebellion, and then their whole system collapses. Therefore, there cannot exist any resistance, even in the least forms for it to even happen, let alone function properly.
