I recently found this article and i find the rebuilding of the temple very interesting. I wanted to give some food for thought to consider on this subject of when the temple will be rebuilt. This is just a thought i have pondered for some time now. When the first temple was destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar the prophet Daniel tells us in Daniel 9 that he had read from the book of Jeremiah how that the Lord was going to allow this to happen and that 70 years later they would return to their land and rebuild the temple and this of course happened. Then, we read in Matthew 24 where Christ prophesied of the temple being destroyed yet a second time. This of course happened as well. What i find interesting is that this happened in the year 70 a.d. It seems that we have 2 seventy year periods that God dealt with Israel and the temple. In 1948 Israel became a nation again. Could there be a connection here? If the Lord’s time clock follows suit could we see a rebuilding of the third Jewish temple at the 70 year anniversary of Israel’s rebirth? If so that would put us in the year 2018 as a possibility. Could it be that 2018 is the year of this great prophecy of the scriptures?….something to think about for sure…God bless
