Somehow it seems that Paul was a manic controlling busy-body.

Too bad that so many people seem to take their cues from Paul rather than from Jesus Himself.

do you believe these people are christians? i think they are. but they are only christians in name because they belong to an organized church and believe a certain doctrines that will save thenm from hell. but they lost the teachings of jesus, basically to love their neighbor as theirselves. but they think they love their neighbor, but only in a perverted way – that is that people should think like them too, that they hold the correct understanding about god and all other else are going to eternal damnation. that’s why they unconsciously do the opposite of love – hate – hate the gays, hate the femeinists, hate the liberals, hate the left, and hate sin and love the sinners but excommunitcate them if they continue on sinning. ironic, to find out that they believe in a religion of love.

It appears the pastor of this “church” does not understand the distinction between God’s creation and God’s children.

I was one of the handful of protesters outside that “church” on that particular Sunday evening.

To John from November 28th…in love, Please use scripture correctly…I draw your attention to 1 corinthians 5:9-13…we are told not to company with fornicators, etc who say that they are in the faith..ie; believers. Paul goes on to tell us that we can associate with un-believers who do these things because they are the ones we need to share the saving grace of Jesus Christ with. verse 12 tells us that WE ARE, in fact supposed to judge the believer and cast him/her out…but in verse 13 we are told that those who are without God (unbelievers) God will judge. To make it simple John…we are called to be “fruit inspectors” no pun intended, I promise….we as believers are called to hold each other accountable and “put out” those who say they are in the faith, but live as if they are still children of the devil…if we look at the fruit of their lives and see that its bad…cast it out…we are actually told to do this for their benefit so that in the casting out, one might see the error of his/her way and repent and come back to the fold. This is not about hate, its actually about loving the person enough to cast them out so that they can be saved.
