To summarize. How can that temple be built with such hostility existing from Muslims towards Jews. Scripture talks about the antichrist confirming the covenant with the many for 7 years...but in the midst of the 7 years he will stand in the temple...and proclaim he is God. So antichrist will bring this "peace" and allow the temple to be built...for the very purpose of desecrating it at the appointed time. This is when Jerusalem (Luke 21) and the newly built temple (Matthew 24) will be desolated at the same time. The Jews will realize who this antichrist really is. God will allow Jerusalem to be desolated and the Jews punished (Luke 21) but will save a remnant of the Jews as he always does for the sake of His promise to Abraham to give the land of Israel as a possession to the Jews forever. How will he do this? However, 1. I have listened to a certain scholar whom I think is of a Jewish descent, but a Christian saying there are about 80 items of the temple that have been reovered and amongst those items the "Oil of Anointing is one crucial item. Now my question is because the scholar mentioned something about Jesus not having been anointed and now or at the time when He goes into that temple He must first be anointed(Probably as the High Priest)but my interest is who is really worthy here on earth to anoint Jesus Christ the Son of the Leaving God, will God the Father come or will we have some qualified guy by what standards??????? 2.
